About Pennsauken Housing Authority

The HCV Program is subsidized by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The Pennsauken Housing Authority administers 76 tenant based housing choice vouchers for income eligible families, senior citizens, and disabled households. Through this program families receive assistance in paying a portion of their monthly rent. Families are free to choose any house or apartment as long as it meets certain requirements for housing quality and affordability. Program participants normally pay no more than 30% of monthly adjusted income towards rent. The balance of the rent is paid with the HUD subsidized funds
